Watershed

What is a Watershed?
A watershed is an area of land that drains to a river system or a network of river systems.

Clinton River Watershed: The Clinton River Watershed includes all of the land area and waterways which drain into the Clinton River.

Rouge River Watershed: The Rouge River Watershed includes all of the land area and waterways which drain into the Rouge River.

Erosion and Sedimentation Control: As a Municipal Enforcing Agency, the City of Birmingham regulates soil erosion and sedimentation on construction sites.

Volunteering: People get together annually, to enhance and celebrate rivers and local waterways in Southeast Michigan. 

Riparian Corridor Management: The RCM principles and practices represented in this document are a starting point for public and private property owners to protect, improve and restore riparian corridors.
