Water Water service is provided by the City. To set up your account, you may telephone the Treasurer's Office at 248.530.1830 Birmingham purchases water from the Southeastern Oakland County Water Authority (SOCWA), which buys it from the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department.

Phone, Television and Internet Currently, there are two major competing providers in the Birmingham Area: Comcast and AT&T. AT&T is currently available in limited areas. Both offer cable TV, telephone and Internet services, often bundled into a package. By orderingall three services from one provider you can save money and consolidate your bills.
