In May 2004, Mead & Hunt presented a final report to the City in regards to a study they conducted on the Bates Street Neighborhood. The purpose of the study was to explore the rich history of this neighborhood, including its beginnings, development, and architectural styles. This study will be used by planners and residents in order to keep the area's unique history intact as we move deeper into the 21st Century.
While similar studies are planned for all neighborhoods in the long term, there are no immediate budgetary plans to conduct these studies at the present time.
